How To Get There
Bath is located just 10 miles from junction 18 of the M4 motorway, which runs direct from London and Heathrow. There are also excellent motorway links from Devon, Cornwall and the North via the M5 motorway, whilst Wales is just a short drive west on the M4.
There are regular train services direct from London Paddington to Bath, with an average journey time of around 90 minutes. Bristol Temple Meads, just 15 minutes away by train, is also a major hub for travel to other parts of the country.
Bristol airport is just 19 miles from Bath and offers direct scheduled flights from 117 locations across 30 countries, including 16 capital cities with convenient connections from the rest of the world to Bristol. The Bath Bus Company operates to/from Bath from the airport every half an hour.
Once you arrive in the city travelling around couldn’t be easier. Bus services also serve many places in Somerset and Wiltshire. There is a wide range of ticket options and great value day tickets available giving unlimited travel.
By Park and Ride
Bath has three park and ride services, which operate seven days a week. Regular bus services run into the city every 10-15 minutes. Parking is free and tickets are purchased on the bus.
